Treat your loved ones, or yourself, to a special day with us, learning how to make traditional North Indian home-style cookery, hands-on, in small groups of 8 people maximum.  This is the Indian cookery of the mother as she teaches her daughter, and taught with love, care and attention.

We do not accept caterers or the hospitality industry. Please contact us for commercial arrangements.

Join us for ‘The Indian Experience’ Cookery Workshop, a full day immersion Indian cookery class, held at our home and business HQ in beautiful South Somerset/West Dorset area, conveniently located immediately off the A303 Tintinhull exit.

We are Punjabi mother and daughter team, Surinder and Safia.  Led by us you will be taught how to make a home-style 3-course meal from scratch, using the traditional Punjabi cookery methods and ingredients, as taught to Surinder by our late mother/grandmother.

Our cookery is the real, healthy food, cooked daily in the conventional North Indian home, as cooked by the first generation of immigrants who arrived in the 50’s and 60’s, and is NOT British-Indian restaurant food.

There is a space and a place for all food, but our mission is to keep alive the cookery of our mother/grandmothers generation.

Workshop attendees!  You can extend your culinary adventure and immerse yourself in the experience at our home and Pure Punjabi HQ?

Upgrade your Indian cookery class with a relaxing staycation at our award-winning rural country inn bed and breakfast, nestled in the heart of South Somerset, (BA22 8PZ).  We’re conveniently located near the West Dorset border and easily accessible from all major towns and cities via the A303.
